Supermodel No. 62 Chinese South-Seeking Chariot

This is a Meccanoman’s favourite model that has appeared in various guises throughout the years. The original was built between AD 120 and 250. It seems that its purpose must have been simply to cause awe and wonder in onlookers since whichever way the Chariot was turned the Chinese Monk on the top always pointed in the same direction.
