Second Edition Remastered Magazines
When the Guild first started, magazine issues were originally created with the traditional cut and paste method, and then photocopied in black & white. They were compiled and stapled entirely by hand, just enough to send out to existing members. This continued right up to issue 57 for February 2005 after which they were produced in full colour with much improved quality.
Some time back we started a project to revisit these earlier issues with a view to republishing them and making them available to all. To improve the image quality the original photo's were scanned where available, and alternative images were chosen where possible. The idea was to breathe new life in ‘full colour’ into those original grainy photocopied issues.
The first twenty magazines were published as 2nd editions and all remaining stock is listed in this section.
Currently there are no plans to continue this enormous project up to issue 57, but the idea has not been entirely ruled out. This all depends on future demand prospects. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
