Stepper Motor Robots

Each of the three models shown here are driven by stepper motors. Very precise position control can be obtained using these motors. They are ideal for robotics. The position of each movement in the machine is determined by the number of steps delivered electronically to each motor.   

Here you can see three models — a robot, a yard crane and a gantry crane each driven by a number of stepper motors. Also shown is the Code 7 controller.
