Lisa Harland
My name is Lisa Harland, I joined the Runnymede Meccano Guild on 28th July 2016.
In January 2016, I started to make a few simple models from the 1970's No.1 set model leaflet, including a swing and a windmill. Then I made a few models of my own design, a "Pandora's Box", a few flowers, butterflies, a teddy bear, and a double heart decoration that I have hanging in my kitchen. For Xmas I made a snowflake ornament with white LED's threaded through the holes, my own creative design, and my latest free style model was a square decorative vase which has a patchwork quilt effect, (using all my partners, (Pete Wood) shiniest Meccano parts!) But much to his relief, I am now beginning to gather my own collection of parts ...
My biggest challenge so far, before the vase, was a digger tractor from a "multi models" kit, and was quite difficult to put together, but I was very pleased and proud to see it completed.
I am now starting to think about planning my next big challenge ....
