Marvels of Meccano

Located just west of Hanworth, just off the end of the M3 motorway, Kempton Steam Museum is well worth a visit.

On both days of an autumn steaming weekend Runnymede Meccano Guild takes over any available free space to exhibit a host of models around the two great engines. With these titans of British engineering towering either side of us, the smell of steam oil all around, and regular "steam ups" from the one operational engine, this place has a terrific atmosphere and is the perfect setting for a Meccano display!
